The Bible Truth Institute is the theological training ministry of CORE Missions, established to equip pastors, church leaders, missionaries, and faithful believers with a solid understanding of God's Word.

Our mission is simple: To strengthen local churches by training biblically grounded leaders who can faithfully teach others also.

  • Church planting is only the beginning. Healthy churches require biblically trained leaders who can faithfully preach the Scriptures, disciple believers, and develop future leaders. Without sound biblical training, churches often struggle to remain rooted in truth and to reproduce healthy leadership.

    Bible Truth Institute is CORE Missions' strategy for strengthening the churches we help establish and the churches with which we partner. Our goal is to provide accessible, practical, church-centered theological education that equips leaders to serve effectively while remaining actively involved in their local ministries. By investing in pastors and church leaders today, we are helping build strong, biblically grounded churches that will continue proclaiming the Gospel for generations to come.

  • We envision a growing network of Bible Truth Institutes throughout the world where national believers are equipped to faithfully preach the Scriptures, disciple new believers, strengthen local churches, and advance the Gospel in their own communities.

    Rather than requiring pastors and church leaders to leave their ministries for years of traditional seminary education, Bible Truth Institute brings biblical training directly to where they serve. Students continue ministering in their local churches while receiving a comprehensive biblical education.

    As graduates mature in their faith and ministry, they become trainers of others, creating a multiplying movement of biblical leadership for generations to come.

    The Bible is Our Final Authority

    Every course is rooted in the authority, sufficiency, and inerrancy of Scripture. Students are equipped to rightly interpret God's Word and confidently teach biblical truth with accuracy and conviction.

    The Local Church is God's Plan

    We believe God established the local church as the primary instrument for making disciples. Every Bible Truth Institute operates in partnership with local churches and pastors, strengthening, not replacing, the ministry of the local congregation.

    Training Should Lead to Ministry

    Biblical education is never an end in itself. Our desire is to see every student grow in Christlike character while becoming more effective in evangelism, discipleship, preaching, leadership, and church ministry.

    Multiplication is the Goal

    Faithful ministry multiplies faithful servants. We seek to equip men and women who will, in turn, train others to carry the Gospel into future generations.

  • Bible Truth Institute combines classroom instruction, guided reading, personal study, Scripture memory, ministry assignments, and mentoring.

    Students are encouraged to immediately apply what they learn in their homes, churches, and communities. The goal is not merely to complete coursework but to become faithful servants who live and teach the truths of God's Word.

Bohol, Philippines

Our first Bible Truth Institute is actively training pastors and church leaders in Bohol, equipping them with sound biblical doctrine and practical ministry skills as they faithfully serve their churches and communities.

Honduras

In 2026, CORE Missions will launch Bible Truth Institute in Honduras in partnership with national pastors and local churches. This institute will strengthen existing church-planting efforts by preparing pastors and ministry leaders to faithfully preach God's Word, disciple believers, and establish healthy local churches throughout the region.

As God provides opportunities, we prayerfully anticipate expanding Bible Truth Institute into additional countries where biblical leadership training is greatly needed.
